BAŞKANDAN MURAT SARAYLI Öncelikli gündemimiz, Türkiye'nin AB'ne üyeliği sürecinde, iş dünyasının bireyleri olmanın yanısıra, ülkemize ve toplumumuza karşı olan sorumluluklarımızın gereğini yapmaktır. Sorunlarımızın farkındayız ama potansiyellerimizin ve kaynaklarımızın da farkındayız. Bu nedenle ülkemize ve insanımıza güveniyoruz. Bu kaynaklarında bir barış ve medeniyet projesi olarak öngördüğümüz, merkezinde insanın mutluluğu olan ve içinde Türkiye'ninde olduğu AB'nin geleceğine ve dolayısı ile dünyanın barışına hizmet etmesi gerektiğini düşünüyor ve kendimize bu yönde bir misyon biçiyoruz. Bu misyonumuzu da, medeniyetler çatışması tezine karşı a-tılması gerekli bir adım, başarılması şart bir hedef olarak her an gündemimizde tutuyoruz. Avrupa Birliği ile 40 yılı aşkın süre önce başlamış ve tanımlaması "tam üyeliğe yönelik on üyelik antlaşması" olan ve karşılıklı ödevleri içeren mutabakat ve takiben yapılan zirveler, protokoller ile belirlenen kriterleri yerine getirmiş TÜRKİYENİN, karşısındaki muhataplardan, özellikle dünyaya barış adına proje kurgulayanlardan, taahhütlerini yerine getirmelerini beklemekten daha doğal bir durumu olamaz kanaatindeyim. Maalesef karar süreçlerinde muhataplarımızın bir kısmında belli ön yargılar olduğunu görüyoruz. Bu projenin ancak Türkiye ile beraber bir manası olacağını, bu fotoğrafın ancak bu şekilde tamamlanacağını, dünya barışına katkıda bulunabilme adına gerekli sinerji için tarihi bir fırsatın önlerinde olduğu gerçeği umarız yüreklerdeki bu ön yargılar sebebi ile gözden kaçmaz... Bu aşamada bize düşen akıl ve sabırla, dünyanın ve insanlığın geleceği ile ilgili heyecan ve ümitlerimizi, iç zenginliklerimizi paylaşabileceğimiz, her türlü ön yargıyı kırabilme adına bir arada olabileceğimiz ortamları yaratmak, geçtiğimiz günlerde başlattığımız AB kamu oyuna yönelik " OPEN YOUR HEART" kampanyasında olduğu gibi her seviyedeki muhatabın bize kalplerini açmaları için vesileler yaratabileceğimiz birlikteliklerin zeminini aramaktır.. Bizler ön yargılar ile oluşmuş mesafeleri kapatma, ve tüm insanlığın refaha kavuşacağı ortamların oluşturulmasına katkıda bulunma azmindeyiz. Geçmişin yanlışlıklarını geçmişe zincirleme ve düşmanlığa düşman olma taraftarıyız. Tarihin derinliklerinde yatan bazı yaşanmışlıklar, karşıt cepheler oluşturmuş, insanları ve milletleri birbirlerinden uzaklaştırmış olabilir. Bugün yeni uçurumlar meydana getirmek manasızdır. Bilakis bugün hem bölgesine hem de dünyaya istikrar getirecek barış adaları oluşturma sonrada bu adaları kopmaz bir şekilde birbirine bağlama zamanıdır. Türkiye'nin de içinde olacağı bir AB'nin önünde bu fırsat vardır. Bütün bu olumlu şartlara ve tarihi bir karar aşamasında olunmasına rağmen Kim ne derse desin, ne yaparsa yapsın; biz, yolunda ilerlemeye devam etmeli, kendi barış adamızı korumaya ve içinde olduğumuz birlik bütünlük atmosferini güçlendirmeye çalışmalı, dünyayı dostça paylaşmayı düşünmeli ve dünya barışı adına üzerimize düşeni yapmalıyız... Bugün ülkemiz ağır bir borç yükü altındadır. Bu borcu çocuklarımıza yüklememe adına veonlara daha güzel bir ülke, daha insanca yaşanabilir bir dünya bırakma adına, yarın onların çekeceği cefanın en azından bir kısmını bugünden üzerimizde hissedip, her yeni günümüze bu duygu ve düşünce ile başlamalıyız... Eğiteceğimiz genç nüfusumuzla, coğrafyasının vücut dilini bilen dinamik yapımızla ve dünya barışı adına kendimize biçtiğimiz misyonumuzla içinde olacağımız bir AB'nin global manada güçlenerek çevresine ve dünyaya istikrar getiren bir medeniyet projesi olması yolunda çok kritik olduğunu düşündüğümüz katkımızı verebilme duygu düşünce ve ümidi ile... Our main priority within Turkey's admittance into the EU is to not only carry out our responsibilities towards our country and society as individuals in the business world but also carry out our responsibilities that come from being the citizens of this country. We have certainly identified the issues of concern, as we are also well aware of our potential and resources. That is why we have faith in our country and our people. We believe that these resources need to serve the project of peace and civilization formed to be the EU, with a member Turkey. Consequently, we anticipate a world where the focus is given to the happiness of all mankind, which is why we believe that it is our mission to provide our services to the best of our ability in maintaining world peace and harmony. This is our mission that we hold as an anti-thesis to the clash of civilizations, making it our aim for success and a necessary step in our agenda. Throughout our relations with the European Union which has involved a series of summits, protocols, Òagreements for full membership candidacyÓ and the homework that followed, for over 40 years; Turkey has now completed a long journey where all criterions have been fulfilled, giving no other alternative but to expect full membership in a unification formed to maintain and preserve world peace on the whole. To our dismay, we do see that some of those addressed have a prejudice approach towards our membership. However, we anticipate that they will eventually realize that such a project initiated with such meaning can only be complete if it includes Turkey, completing a picture, which will contribute to world peace, creating the synergy necessary for future opportunitiesÉ At this point, with the patience and virtue bestowed upon us, we hope to search and create new grounds upon which we can create new opportunities of togetherness, portraying our cultural richness, our excitement and hope all within the scope of a campaign we launched under the banner of ÒOPEN YOUR HEARTÓ where we wish to address the EU, and eliminate any prejudice directed towards us of any kind. We are determined to close the gap that has been created between others and ourselves out of prejudice as we are also determined to contribute to an environment that will enable the welfare of mankind as a whole. We believe that mistakes of history should be chained to the past, while the only hate we should reflect is to hate itself. Experiences from the depths of history that may have distanced societies and peoples from one another should not be used as a means to base a foundation for a new abyss. Instead, islands of people throughout the region and throughout the international arena should be formed, where now it is the right time to establish bridges between these islands. An EU which Turkey is a part of will provide nothing opportunity for all. Although we have fulfilled all the criterions and we are at the threshold of an important decision concerning our membership; no matter what anyone says or what anyone does, we should keep stepping forward in our mission. We should keep on protecting our own island of peace while strengthening the atmosphere of unity we have within it, only to share with the rest of the world our friendship conducting what we should fulfill to maintain world peace. Today, our country is under a heavy burden of national debt. In order to prevent this debt from being passed on to the next generation, we should leave them a country which they can live in under harmony and humane conditions, taking into account the pain and suffering we can cause them if we do not take control of our responsibilities today. We should begin each and everyday with those thoughts and carry on our journey accordingly. With the younger generation which we will be educating, within our dynamic structure that is well aware of the body language of our geography, a mission where we devote ourselves to world peace will help us contribute to the project of the EU which focuses of civilization. While globally the EU is strengthening bringing welfare to its surrounding regions and the rest of the world, such a mission is nothing but critical in us doing our part. |
